Concept Dental Centre Hygiene Department

At Concept Dental Centre our dental hygienists are not trained to "just clean teeth". Dr. Rickards believes in training our hygienists to expand their knowledge base, therefore making their jobs considerably more interesting and challenging while providing our patients with a greater variety of services. Services such as assisting Dr. Rickards in the fitting of snoring appliances, in the management of TMJ splints, tooth whitening, and intraoral photographic tours of the mouth to better show patients potential problem areas.

As discussed in other areas of this website, Dr. Rickards feels very strongly about the use of magnification in Dentistry. We feel that the better we can see, the better job we will be able to provide you. As a result, all of the hygienists at Concept Dental Centre use magnification loupes. In this picture you can see our hygienists, using their loupes while performing some of their daily tasks. What may be invisible to the human eye in most cases can be seen and remedied through the use of magnification loupes.
